1. Evaluate the following hand for HCP and modified distribution points.

            ♠ K, J, 5
            A, 8, 5
            3, 2
           ♣ A, 8, 6, 4, 2

With 1 Jack, 1 King, and 2 Aces, the hand has 12 HCP and, with 1 singleton, add 1 distribution point for a total of 13 points.

2. Evaluate the following hand for HCP and modified distribution points.

           ♠ Q, 9, 4
            Q, 10, 7
            K, J, 10, 8, 4
           ♣ J, 9

With 2 Queens, 2 Jacks, and 1 King, the hand has 9 HCP. The doubleton is counted with the Jack, so the hand has 9 points.

3. Evaluate the following hand for HCP and modified distribution points.

           ♠ 10, 8, 6, 3, 2
            K
            Q, 9, 7, 6
           ♣ Q, 5, 3

With 2 Queens and 1 King, the hand has 7 HCP. The singleton is counted with the King, so the hand has 7 points.

4. Evaluate the following hand for HCP and modified distribution points.

            J, 9, 6, 4, 3, 2
